I was wondering where you buy your boxes from in Japan - I have tried to source them in Australia but no luck - they always come with a pottery piece so are expensive.
In Massachusetts, potter Ron Mello makes boxes that are worth checking out. And not unreasonably expensive. Go to http://home.comcast.net/~rmello1/ to take a look.
Thanks Holis! Interesting site. Actually, mine are lower priced from Japan and are custom sized. Wabiarts' webpage is no longer up, but you can view it here: http://web.archive.org/web/20080620002349/http://www.wabiarts.com/ If anybody would like to contact wabiarts, I'd be happy to send you their email.
Kintaro always asks for packaging from boxes shipped to us. He is especially interested in mail from Japan.
