One Of My First Pots

I made this during my first pottery classes at the UofMn I took from Curt Hoard. 19" tall, coil and paddle construction, iron oxide rubbed in, scraffito decoration.

I made these at Shimaoka's workshop during my apprentieship there. These were at the opening show at Yanagi's house. It was restored and turned into a contemporary gallery

Energy Efficency For Minnesota Winter

The low was -15*F, but the little electric radiator heater kept the temp above 32*F in the enclosure. Exactly what I hoped it would do!

I got the nylon reinforced plastic from someone who set it out as garbage and MacKenzie gave me the "Farm"  plastic.   It was too heavy for covering pots but I told Warren I could use it in my studio.

except the racks went on the roof.
