Jars

On the way to the studio. I need to put in more windows before winter gets here.



















I cleaned up the ears after shooting them. I find when you take a photograph, you look at the pots more carefully.

The cut foot in the cylindrical jar is so you can see that the foot is high and the container space ends above the whole.

One More Jar.

The ears on all the jars are so the lid can be tied down with cord.

Covered Jar

Making some jars for the top of the small soda kiln.
This lid sat too low. I built up the lid lip to ride higher. See in later photo.

Tamba Runny Ash

This is dipped on the top where there is texture. The bottom had the
same ash glaze brushed on.
